The word of God says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."

 

The true essence of this verse has been fulfilled in the life of Pastor Herald Sathyananda Maben. Though born in a Christian family and attending Church service regularly, he never experienced the true love of Christ and did not share a personal relationship with Jesus.

 

One day in 2003, God touched him during Church Service. During the process of transformation, he met a servant of God who helped him grow spiritually and accepted Christ as his personal savior. He, along with his wife Usha, was baptized on 11th September 2004.

 

God gave him a vision through his word in Isaiah 42:6-7 "I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness, and will hold your hand; I will keep you and give you as a covenant to the people, as a light to the Gentiles, to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house" and is using him to build God's kingdom according to these verses.

 

He is blessed with a loving wife, Usha, who serves with him in the ministry. The couple is blessed with two sons, Melwin and Joshua.
